Caring for your Jellycat
Jellycats are cuddled hard, which means they eventually need a wash. The general guidance is gentle: surface-clean with a damp cloth for everyday grime, and avoid throwing them in a hot machine, which can mat that lovely fur. Let them air dry fully rather than tumble drying, keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight, and give ears and limbs a gentle reshape after any wash. Treated kindly, a Jellycat holds its softness for years.
When to buy (and when to grab it)
Jellycat rotates its range regularly, retiring designs and introducing seasonal characters, which is why that avocado you liked last spring may have quietly vanished. There is no shame in the rule of cute shopping: if it makes you smile and it is in stock, that is often the whole decision.
